At Rushden Primary Academy, our Golden Rules of Respect, Pride and Achieve are at the heart of everything we do. We believe that children thrive when school and home, work together in a genuine partnership.  

This agreement sets out how we will work together to help every child feel safe, valued and successful.  

As a school, we will: 

• Model Respect in all relationships 
• Promote Pride in learning and behaviour 
• Support every child to Achieve their full potential 
• Deliver high-quality teaching and a broad curriculum 
• Set high expectations for learning and behaviour 
• Provide a safe, inclusive and caring environment 
• Support wellbeing, confidence, resilience and independence 
• Keep you informed about progress and school life 
• Be approachable and respond to concerns promptly 

 
As parents/carers, you will: 

• Ensure your child is school-ready each day 
• Ensure your child attends regularly and arrives on time 
• Support Respect, Pride and Achieve at home 
• Encourage positive attitudes to learning 
• Communicate respectfully with school 
• Seek support if your child is not school-ready or is struggling 
• Share any concerns that may affect your child 

 
As pupils, we will: 

• Show Respect to everyone 
• Take Pride in our work and school 
• Aim to Achieve our very best 
• Be kind, safe and responsible 
• Be ready to learn and follow instructions 
• Ask for help when needed
