EYFS:

EYFS pupils are assessed at the end of their time in FS. They are assessed against a variety of criteria and receive a judgement of ‘Good Level of Development’ (GLD) if they meet these criteria.

GLD: The % of pupils achieving GLD in 2025/26 was 85%.

KS1

Year 1 pupils are screened to assess their phonic level of understanding. If they do not pass in Y1 they are retested in Y2.

Year 1 Phonics:

• 80% passed the Phonics Screening Check in 2025/2026.
• In Year 2, 96% of pupils passed the Phonics Screening Check.

• 77% Reading with 42% achieving greater depth standard
• 75% Writing with 5% achieving greater depth standard
• 81% Maths with 21% achieving greater depth standard
• 70% achieved in Reading, Writing and Maths combined with 5% at greater depth standard

KS2

Attainment- % of pupils reaching the Expected Standard and Greater Depth:

• 84% achieved the expected standard in Reading with 23% achieving greater depth standard
• 79% achieved the expected standard in Writing with 7% achieving greater depth standard
• 74% achieved the expected standard in Maths with 26% achieving greater depth standard
• 81% achieved the expected standard in GPS with 26% achieving greater depth standard
• 86% of pupils achieved the expected standard in Science
• 74% achieved in Reading, Writing and Maths combined with 2% at greater depth standard
