Complaints

We know that the vast majority of our pupils and families are happy with the education and support we provide at Rushden Primary Academy. However, we recognise that occasionally concerns may arise and, when they do, we are committed to listening and working with parents to resolve them quickly and fairly.

In the first instance, we ask that parents discuss any concern directly with the member of staff involved, or with an appropriate member of the academy team. Most issues can be resolved informally through open communication and partnership working. In line with our Trust's Complaints Policy, we encourage families to give the academy the opportunity to address concerns before submitting a formal complaint.

If a concern cannot be resolved informally, a formal complaint may then be submitted in writing and will be considered in accordance with the Greenwood Academies Trust Complaints Policy and Procedure.

Please click here to find our trust-wide complaints policy and procedure which will indicate clearly the steps you should take if you have any concerns. This policy follows national guidelines and will ensure that your complaint is taken seriously.

At the same link, you will also find our trust-wide whistleblowing policy and procedure.
