Enrichment

To enhance children’s learning in History and to ensure we are equipping our children with the knowledge and cultural capital to succeed in life, children participate in visits to outdoor locations such as Boughton House and Holdenby House. Learning is enriched with visits to museums, handling of real artefacts, immersive in school experience days such as historical workshops and visits from local historians with the opportunity for exploring history in a unique way and try to develop opportunities for this where possible.

Year 6 Remembrance Day

Year 6 students have dedicated their time and sewing skills to craft beautiful poppies for a wreath that will be displayed during the upcoming Remembrance Service. We had meaningful discussions about the significance of Remembrance Day and the importance of acknowledging the sacrifices made by those who served our country. These poppies are a symbol of our respect and gratitude. 🌺
